The best Hostplus SANFLW League performers in 2025 are being unveiled through the SANFLW Top 3 in 2025 rankings.
Form across the 2025 season was used as the chief factor in the ranking process, with selection in The Advertiser SANFLW Team of the Year and the SANFLW state team weighing heavily, together with placings in the SANFLW Best and Fairest, Club best-and-fairest awards, SA Under 18 performances and awards, and strong performances in finals matches.
High rankings in statistics such as total disposals, marks, contested marks, goals, clearances and tackles were also taken into account, along with Champion Data ranking points.

Kate Alexander is only 17 but she proved this season she can keep up with the best.
Featuring in all but one of Norwood’s Hostplus SANFLW League games in 2025, Alexander’s best performance came against Sturt in Round 11 where she recorded 33 hit outs and had five clearances.
She also played in all four of South Australia’s U18 Girls games, going up against some of the best young female rucks the country has on offer, and will again feature for the Croweaters U18 Girls in 2026.

Former AFLW player Leah Cutting averaged the most hit outs of anyone in the league this season, averaging over 30 per game.
Her stellar season saw her crowned Woodville-West Torrens SANFLW Best and Fairest, along with finishing inside the top eight for the league’s highest honour.
Cutting played in both SANFLW State games in 2025, and was a major reason for the Eagles first minor premiership in the SANFLW.
It’s hard to go past South Adelaide star Soriah Moon for the most influential SANFLW ruck in 2025.
Often acting as a fourth midfielder, Moon won her second South Adelaide Best and Fairest, as well as placing second in the SANFLW Best and Fairest.
Playing in both SANFLW State games, Moon was also named as the starting ruck in The Advertiser 2025 SANFLW Team of the Year, and played a major role in South Adelaide’s fourth SANFLW premiership.
