Two SANFLW draftees have made history for their respective AFLW clubs at the 2025 AFLW Awards.

South Adelaide premiership player Indy Tahau was recognised for her record-breaking season after making the move into attack for Port Adelaide.

Tahau kicked 25 goals in the home-and-away season – the most of any player in the AFLW since its inception.

In a standout season where she averaged 2.1 goals per game, Tahau also earned her first All-Australian selection, named at full forward.

She was joined by former Glenelg SANFLW player Matilda Scholz, who, after a breakout season for the Power in 2024, was rewarded for another consistent year with her first All-Australian blazer.

Scholz, who spends the majority of her time in the ruck, was named on the interchange bench.

Tahau and Scholz are the first All-Australian selections for Port Adelaide’s AFLW side since it joined the League in 2022.
