SANFL locks in long-term broadcast deal with Seven Network

SANFL has extended its long-standing partnership with the Seven Network securing a new long-term broadcast agreement that ensures live and free coverage of the Hostplus SANFL League on Seven and 7plus Sport.

Seven will broadcast the Match of the Round throughout the home and away season and every game of the Hostplus Finals Series including the Grand Final at Adelaide Oval on September 20. These games will be broadcast on Seven throughout South Australia and streamed on 7plus Sport nationally.

The renewed agreement strengthens a relationship that has showcased the best of local football since 2014, ensuring fans can continue to enjoy coverage of the state’s premier league on Seven and 7plus.

SANFL CEO Darren Chandler is thrilled to again team up with Seven and their experienced team of broadcasters.

“The Seven Network shares our passion for football in South Australia, and this long-term deal is a fantastic outcome for our league, our clubs and most importantly our fans,” said Chandler.

“Seven has been a longstanding and valued partner of the SANFL and their continued support demonstrates the strength of our competition and ensures our product will be available to audiences right across the country.

“Free-to-air coverage is critical to the ongoing growth and sustainability of our competition, and we look forward to further showcasing what we believe is the best league outside of the AFL,” he said.
