South Australia will take a settled line-up into its Game 2 clash with Victoria Metro at Alberton Oval on Sunday.
Banking a hard-fought seven-point win against the Allies in Game 1 of the 2025 Marsh AFL U18 National Championships in Blacktown, the Croweaters have made just one change to confront the Big V.
South Adelaide bottom-agers Kodah Edwards and Archie Van Dyk have effectively traded places in the 24-player squad, with Edwards set to play for the Panthers in the SANFL U18s after acting as the emergency in Game 1.
SA will be looking to use twin tall forwards Mitch Marsh and Aidan Schubert again after they booted four goals each in the victory against the Allies, while Sam Ainsworth impressed in the ruck.
Half-back Luke Candy had a team-high 23 disposals off half-back in Game 1 so will be looking to get his hands on the Sherrin again while SA midfielders Dyson Sharp, Louis Kellaway and Noah Roberts-Thomson will be provided excellent support in the rotation from Blake Oudshoorn-Bennier and Jim Kelly.
The Croweaters – coached by SANFL U18 Academy Manager Tony Bamford – will also have matches against Western Australia (Sunday June 15) at Alberton and Victoria Country (Sunday June 29) in Melbourne to finish off their campaign.
All matches in the 2025 Marsh U18 AFL National Championships will be live streamed via the match centre on the AFL website and AFL Live Official App.
