South Australia has named a strong line-up to confront Queensland in Game 3 of the Marsh AFL U18 Girls National Championships at Prospect Oval on Sunday.
After being edged out by just four points in Game 1 against Victoria Metro, the Croweaters rebounded strongly in Game 2 to account for Western Australia by by 20 points in Perth.
Now coach Brad Snell’s charges are eager to tackle their second half of their campaign, with a host of Hostplus SANFLW League stars ready to impress.
As many as eight SA U18 players lined up in Sunday’s Hostplus SANFLW League Grand Final, with South Adelaide’s Emma Charlton taking home the medal for best-on-ground.
Fellow Panthers Hope Taylor and Layla Vizgaudis also kicked goals in the title-decider, as did tall Eagles forward Ruby Lynch.
Lily Baxter made her presence felt early for South while Lucy Moore and Imogen Trengove battled hard for the minor premiers.
SA’s final encounter will be Game 4 against Victoria Country at Thomas Farms Oval, Unley on Sunday August 10 at 12pm.
All matches in the 2025 Marsh U18 AFL National Championships will be live streamed via the match centre on the AFL website and AFL Live Official App.
