SA U18 Girls Team – Game 2

South Australia has made three changes to its lineup for its Game 2 clash against Western Australia at Revo Fitness Stadium in Perth on Sunday.

Woodville-West Torrens utility Ruby Lynch will come into the side after tallying 16 disposals, four marks and nine tackles in Round 12 of the Hostplus SANFLW League.

She will be joined by 16-year-old South Adelaide midfielder Hope Taylor and Norwood ruck Kate Alexander, the latter of which has amassed 274 hit outs across 12 games this season.

The trio comes in for injured pair Taya Maxwell and Charli Hazelhurst, with Tara Lord omitted from the line-up.

The Croweaters will be looking to bounce back in Game 2 of the 2025 Marsh AFL National Championships – U18 Girls, after going down to Victoria Metro by four points at RESA Park in Melbourne last Sunday.

Several players will be looking to back up their well-rounded performances, including Emma Charlton (31 disposals, 10 clearances), captain Imogen Trengove (two goals, 27 disposals) and Lucy Waye (24 disposals, seven tackles, six clearances).

Coached by Brad Snell, the SA U18 Girls will have over a month off after Game 2, before taking on Queensland on Sunday, August 3 and Victoria Country on Sunday, August 10.
