NORWOOD

Norwood will be without veteran forward Paul Puopolo for its encounter with West Adelaide at The Parade.

The triple Hawthorn premiership forward will miss 4-6 weeks after injuring the medial ligament in his knee against Glenelg on Saturday.

With fellow small forward Xavier Tranfa out due to suspension, the Redlegs have called upon Cole Gerloff, Nick Pedro and potential debutants Michael Cavallaro and Mitchell Cotter as replacements.

All four have been listed on the extended interchange bench with fellow inclusion Lachlan Pascoe, who provides cover at either end of the ground.

WEST

West Adelaide is poised to make as many as four changes for its contest against Norwood at The Parade.

Premiership pair Jono Beech and Josh Schiller return, together with Nathan Batley and Aaron Anderson, who have been named on the half-back line.

Lucas Meline and Sam Davidson have also been listed on the extended interchange, with the latter possibly to make his League debut for the Bloods after being recruited from Port’s SANFL side.

Ruckman Stuart Taverner and midfielder Kieran Lovell have been sent to the Reserves while Elliot Dunkin suffered a knee injury against Sturt last round.

GLENELG

Glenelg has regained co-captain Chris Curran as it prepares to host Central at ACH Group Stadium.

The 2019 premiership skipper was a late withdrawal last round with a lower leg issue but has recovered to be named at half-back.

Premiership defender Jonty Scharenberg could play his first League game of the season after a 33-disposal performance in the Reserves.

Forward Tom Condon and half-back Callum Park have also been listed on the seven-man extended interchange bench.

Michael Virgin couldn’t be considered after injuring his hamstring against Norwood on Saturday.

South-east product Brad Agnew will play his 150th League game after making his debut in Round 1 of 2011.

Sturt has been forced to restock its bigman depth for the clash with Port at Unley Oval.

With Josh Patullo sidelined by a shoulder injury, Double Blues coach Marty Mattner has called upon Lachlan Burrows as his replacement.

Midfielder Mani Liddy, utility Oliver Grivell and possible AAMI Rookie James Richards, from Uraidla, have also been added to the extended interchange bench.

Dual premiership defender Guy Page will play his 150th League game.

Wing Matthew Roberts returns from an ankle injury while Arlo Draper (18, 186cm and 75kg) will make his SANFL debut at half-forward, joining Jason Horne-Francis in the starting 18.

Captain Matthew Rose could return from his extended stint on the sidelines after shoulder surgery while Tyson Brown has been named in the back pocket.

Luckless North Adelaide recruit Billy Hartung will return to the League line-up to face South Adelaide at Flinders University Stadium.

The former Hawthorn speedster has been battling hamstring injuries since arriving at Prospect but is coming off a confidence-boosting 26-disposal performance in the Reserves.

Ben Jarman also had his strong Reserves form rewarded after racking up 27 disposals and two goals while premiership defender Tanner Smith returns after a one-game stint in the seconds.

Jarred Allmond is out due to concussion while Robbie Young will miss the match due to personal reasons.

Adelaide coach Michael Godden will be forced to deal with a myriad of changes ahead of the match with the Eagles at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval.

As many as nine players are currently out of the side which defeated Port Adelaide in last Saturday’s SANFL Showdown with the AFL emergencies yet to be finalised.

Impressive debutant Cameron Hutchens and Luke Pedlar have been sidelined by injury while Lachlan Gollant and Kieran Strachan are among several players to attract the attention of AFL coach Matthew Nicks.

Captain Matt Wright and former Eagle Chris Hall add valuable experience to the side while Max Hodges and Jack Lewis are in line to be the Crows’ latest AAMI Rookies.
