A five-goal performance from Riley Nottle helped Central District advance past Sturt by 20 points at X Convenience Oval in Round 15 of the SANFL U16s.

Sturt had its moments, particularly in the first half, but the ladder-leading Bulldogs led at each change and kept the Double Blues at arms length when it mattered.

Nottle played a pivotal role in the victory, his three second term goals especially important, while teammate Toni Marrone gathered 25 disposals and booted two goals.

Flynn Ritossa collected a team-high 23 disposals and a goal for Sturt and ruckman Max Anderson stood out with 17 disposals, 32 hit-outs, 11 marks and a goal.

Glenelg was too strong for South Adelaide at Magain Stadium, snapping a three-game losing streak by defeating the Panthers by 56 points.

Scores were level at quarter time, but that was all the scoring the Panthers could manage until the fourth term, and by then, the Bays had a handy lead.

Glenelg had several contributors in a well-rounded display, however 22 disposals, eight marks and three goals from Harrison Webb proved invaluable.

Panthers skipper Hudson Boal led from the front, finishing with 25 disposals, seven marks and six clearances.

Inaccurate goal-kicking from West Adelaide ensured North Adelaide left Hisense Stadium with a 21-point victory.

The Bloods were made to rue inaccurate kicking inside-50, finishing with 7.15 to the Roosters’ 12.6.

North forward Samuel Pedlar booted four goals in the win and Blake Amos accumulated 26 disposals, six clearances and two goals.

West midfielder Samuel DePalma led all-comers with 28 disposals, five marks and six inside-50s.

Norwood continued its march up the ladder with a 61-point win over Woodville-West Torrens at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval.

The Redlegs were wasteful at times, finishing with 12.15, however, the visitors always appeared in control and dominated the key statistics.

Joseph Nak impressed with 24 disposals, eight inside-50s and two goals and Mason Tambe’s strong season continued, this time finishing with 31 disposals, three contested marks and a goal.

Bayden Fenech tried hard for the Eagles, collecting 24 disposals and providing 11 rebound 50s.
