Port Adelaide’s Charlie Dixon has had his three-match penalty for engaging in rough conduct upheld by the SANFL Tribunal on Wednesday night.
Dixon, who pleaded guilty to engaging in rough conduct with West Adelaide’s Jordan White at Alberton Oval on Saturday, unsuccessfully attempted to have his three-match penalty downgraded to two matches, arguing that the Severe Impact grading should be lowered to High.
The SANFL Tribunal Panel – chaired by Ian White – deemed SANFL’s grading of the incident was appropriate, upholding the original three-match penalty.
