Laitiah Huynh is the first to admit she’s had to develop the contested side to her game in her first 49 games with Central District.

Blessed with exceptional speed and skill, Huynh made her Hostplus SANFLW League debut in the Bulldogs’ first game of Round 1 2019.

Aged just 16 in her first outing, the pacy wing has eventually embraced the challenge to ”step up” in finding the loose ball.

Speaking on SANFL Radio, the aspiring Real Estate Agent is one of the competition’s most consistent and durable players.

Since making her opening appearance in the Bulldogs’ tri-colours, Huynh has never missed a game through injury, only to represent South Australia at under-age level in 2021 and 2019.

This has ensured she’s been on the club’s roller-coaster journey to the major round, culminating in her milestone match being in Central’s first final – this Sunday’s Second Semi against South Adelaide at Flinders University Stadium.
