South Adelaide midfielder Kodah Edwards capped off his memorable 2024 campaign by winning the 2024 SANFL U16 Best and Fairest Medal.
Captain of South Australia’s U16 team at the AFL National Championships, Edwards polled 25 votes to edge out North Adelaide’s Memphis Webb on 23 and Panthers teammate Archie Van Dyk on 22.
Recruited from the Willunga Football Club, Edwards attracted five first preferences from the umpires while averaging 24 disposals across his 16 appearances in 2024.
Hitting the scoreboard with 23 goals for the season, the 16-year-old joins fellow Panther Benny Barrett, who won the inaugural SANFL U16 Best and Fairest in 2022.
Rounding out the top five vote-winners were Glenelg’s Jacob McNicol on 21 and Central’s Jack Gordon on 18.
