Future stars to take centre stage on SANFLW Grand Final day

Get to SANFLW Grand Final Day at Thebarton Oval early tomorrow to see the young stars of the SANFL women’s league battle it out in the U17 Futures match at 9.45am.

The SA U17 NAB AFLW Futures match will be a curtain raiser to the SANFL Statewide Super League Grand Final. This is the first of a two-match intra-state series to identify emerging SA female youth talent.

The U17 Futures series replaces the U17 AFLW Championships, being played this year as an intra-state series given the variable nature of state borders due to COVID-19.

The talent on show at Thebarton tomorrow will not be eligible for the NAB AFLW Draft until at least 2022.

The match will also be live streamed via the AFLW website.
