North Adelaide premiership wing Erica Greet is still coming to terms with reaching her 50th Hostplus SANFLW League milestone in Sunday’s Second Semi-Final against Sturt at Prospect.

An understated character, the 23-year-old didn’t think she would be good enough to make her SANFLW debut with the Roosters, let alone play in the club’s historic undefeated premiership in 2020.

Speaking on SANFL Radio, the fleet-footed midfielder revealed she had only played two games of football prior to donning the red and white for the first time in 2018.

Previously a talented basketballer at district level with Central District, Greet is now harnessing her peripheral vision with her neat delivery of the football into North’s forward 50m arc.

One of the few players in the competition sporting a helmet due to a series of head knocks, Greet is studying exercise Sport Science at the University of South Australia.

Interested in supplying fellow athletes with data to enhance their performance, North’s No.25 is also working casually as a statistician for Champion Data at SANFL Men’s League and underage matches.
