Adelaide’s Luke Nankervis has won the 2025 7News Adelaide SANFL Goal of the Year for his stunning solo checkside effort in Round 14.

One of five players short-listed for the annual award in Hostplus SANFL Grand Final week, the agile Crows utility edged out fellow finalists in Port’s Jack Watkins, Tiger Lachie Hosie, Sturt’s Casey Voss and Redleg Cooper Murley to attract the most fan votes.

Hemmed in tight on the boundary against the Bloods at Hisense Stadium, Nankervis dodged around an opponent before kicking a stylish checkside on the run in traffic.
