Star Signing - Alana Lishmund

Alana Lishmund is ready to make her mark on the Hostplus SANFLW League again.

Forging a reputation as a clever forward while playing with the Redlegs, the 21-year-old claimed the 2022 SANFLW Leading Goal Kicker crown.

But injuries have plagued the left-footer since, leading to her featuring in just five Development League matches last season.

The Hope Valley product has impressed Bruce Dawes with her fierce approach to preseason training, working her way to full fitness while displaying her kicking skills on the training track.

Former Norwood forward Alana Lishmund is eager for a fresh start with the Bloods.

Powerade Breakthrough Player Candidate - Emily Mableson

Season 2024 was a significant one for West Adelaide’s Emily Mableson.

Not only did she play a full season of Hostplus SANFLW League for the Bloods at age 16, she swept the pool of awards at the AFLW U16 National Championships.

The running half-back was SA’s MVP of the tournament as well as earning selection as an All-Australian.

Bloods coach Bruce Dawes is excited to foster Mableson’s development further in 2025, using her in spurts through midfield while settling her predominantly in defence.
