The 2025 Hostplus SANFLW League season will kick off with a highly-anticipated Round 1 fixture, starting on Saturday March 15.

With the home-and-away season again stretched across 14 rounds, South Adelaide will begin its premiership defence with a Grand Final rematch against Norwood at the newly-named Magain Stadium from 6pm.

Woodville-West Torrens will start its quest to play in the major round by hosting Sturt at Eastern Parade Reserve, the first of three matches in succession at the Eagles’ pristine home venue.

On Sunday March 16, two new SANFLW coaches will kickstart their careers on foreign soil when North Adelaide’s Kelly Barltrop travels with her Roosters to face West Adelaide while Glenelg’s Talia Radan heads north to confront Central District at X Convenience Oval.

A three-week finals campaign – featuring the four best-performed teams – will begin on the weekend of Saturday July 12, culminating in the Hostplus SANFLW League Grand Final being played on the weekend of Saturday July 26 at a venue to be confirmed.

After a win in the historic opening State Game against the WAFLW in Perth this year, the best SANFLW players will this time have the chance to don the treasured red guernsey in home territory on the weekend of Saturday May 3.

Hostplus SANFLW League matches being played alongside SANFL Men’s games will again be a key feature of the fixture, with North Adelaide and Central District, together with the Eagles and West Adelaide, playing with their Men’s teams on Good Friday.

Glenelg and Norwood will do battle on Anzac Day at Stratarama Stadium from 5pm, after the Men’s clash while the Double Blues will host the Redlegs from 12.10pm on Monday June 9 as a curtain-raiser to the Men’s King’s Birthday blockbuster.

South Adelaide will hit the road in Round 8, playing a standalone clash against Sturt at the Strathalbyn Oval on Sunday May 18, in the Panthers’ regional zone.

All Hostplus SANFLW League and Development League games will be telecast live and on-demand via the League’s streaming platform – SANFL Now.
