The final SANFLW State Team has been revealed ahead of the highly-anticipated clash with the WAFLW in Perth on Saturday.

To be coached by Adelaide AFLW assistant Courtney Cramey, the Croweaters will field a balanced line-up featuring a bevy of high-profile names from the Hostplus SANFLW League.

South Adelaide’s Soriah Moon looms as a key player to lead the ruck as she looks to get the ball moving for star midfielders Jessica Bates (Glenelg), Caitlin Wendland (Central) and Hannah Button (West) in the centre square.

Fresh from her game-winning goal for the Bulldogs in Round 8, SANFLW leading goalkicker Katelyn Rosenzweig looms as the Croweaters’ key focal point in attack while newly-named captain Sam Franson (Glenelg) will also start inside attacking 50m.

Experienced pair Annie Falkenberg (Eagles) and Tiffany King (South) loom as critical cogs in defence while Central’s Laitiah Huynh and Sturt’s Alisha Gepp provide run off the wings.

The depth of talent in SA’s side is illustrated by proven ball-winners Zoe Venning (West), Isobel Kuiper (Sturt) and Jade Halfpenny (Norwood) starting on the interchange bench.

The historic clash will be played at Optus Stadium from 4.45pm SA time as a curtain-raiser for the West Coast v Essendon AFL match.

It will be the first time since the Hostplus SANFLW League was established in 2017 that a Women’s State League clash takes place on the domestic stage.
