Emerging Field Umpire Sam Morgan will make his Hostplus SANFL League Grand Final debut in Sunday’s title-decider between Glenelg and Sturt at Adelaide Oval.
After officiating in 22 Hostplus SANFL League matches this season, Morgan has been handed his first Grand Final appearance after logging 108 games of League experience.
Morgan will be joined by experienced Corey Bowen, who will be appearing in his eighth League Grand Final while Mitchell Scott returns after making his Grand Final debut in 2022.
Boundary umpire Dylan Speck will join Morgan in making his Grand Final debut after reaching his 85th League game, joining experienced trio Brayden Theil (four Grand Finals), Martin Elsegood (three Grand Finals) and Ben Williams (one Grand Final).
After making his Grand Final debut last season, Braden Ford returns to the goal square, where he will be joined by veteran Matt Cummins, who will officiate in his ninth Hostplus SANFL League Grand Final.
