2020 SANFL Club Development Day

Australian Football Hall of Fame member David Parkin will headline an impressive list of guest speakers for the 2020 SANFL Club Development Day on Saturday February 29.

Set to be held from 10.30am to 5pm in the Ian McLachlan Room at Adelaide Oval, the SANFL Club Development Day is a free information forum designed for Community Football volunteers to empower themelves to develop and build the sustainability of local football clubs.

Parkin, a four-time premiership coach with Carlton and Hawthorn, will provide great insight as an educator and professional footballer into what drives motivation, leadership and teamwork at all levels of football.

The Hawks’ 1971 premiership captain will also be joined by Australian Sports Foundation Partnership Manager Michael Burke, Sturt Chief Executive Sue Dewing and Volunteering SA Executive Manager Tracey Fox as one of several keynote speakers.

They will form the basis of forums on integral topics such as Grants and Fundraising, Volunteer Recognition and Financial Management while attendees will also be provided multiple opportunities to network with their peers.

Registration is now open for those interested in the one-day conference which will also include the provision of lunch and morning tea.
