By ZAC MILBANK

The popular Carnival Day at Woodville continues to expand as the annual event enters its tenth year at Maughan Thiem Hyundai Oval on Sunday.

As many as 81 SANFL Juniors teams from 27 clubs will participate in 124 matches before the Round 16 Statewide Super League clash between Woodville-West Torrens and Adelaide kicks off at 2.10pm.

Boys and girls, from Minis (Under 7) through to Under-10, will have the chance to play in Lightning Carnival format from 8.25am at the home of the Eagles, with a host of other activities planned for the day which attracted a crowd of 5357 in 2018.

Country clubs in the Eagles’ regional zone will make the journey down for the second year in succession, with Mintaro-Manoora, Long Plains and Mallala all suiting up.

SANFL Juniors teams from as far field as Mount Lofty, Blackwood, Brighton, Tea Tree Gully and Salisbury West will also lace up the boots.
