Central District premiership player Sophie Eaton was the next South Australian to have her name called, heading down the expressway to Port Adelaide at pick no.17.
West Adelaide’s Lucy Waye – who had an excellent showing at the 2025 AFLW Combine, finishing inside the top 10 in four categories, was next selected at pick No.21 by Adelaide.
Lily Baxter landed at Carlton with pick No.24, with the South Adelaide dual premiership player typically playing on the wing, and had maximum impact for the Panthers this season, averaging 12.5 disposals at 72 per cent efficiency.
Norwood key defender Charli Hazelhurst was the first South Australian to be selected in the second round of the draft, with Fremantle taking her at pick No.35.
Sturt speedster Monique Bessen was the final Croweater to be selected in the 2025 AFLW Draft, heading to the Dockers at pick No.40.
Earlier in the year, West Adelaide’s Emma Kilpatrick (Geelong), North Adelaide’s Laela Ebert (Melbourne) and Norwood’s Coby Morgan (Port Adelaide) were selected as Injury Replacement Players.
