National Pharmacies SANFL Juniors Fixture Release

Sponsored by NATIONAL PHARMACIES

The 2020 SANFL National Pharmacies Juniors Fixtures have been released, ahead of Round 1 kicking off on the weekend of Friday June 26 to Sunday June 28.

At this stage, only the first three rounds have been released to allow for re-grading and fixture amendments from round 4.

As many as 12 minor round matches will be played despite the delayed start to the season, with games to be played throughout the July school holiday period.

Due to the shortened season, the first and second ranked teams at the end of the minor round will progress straight through to the Grand Final in age levels from Under-12 to Under-15 for the boys and girls competitions.

For Under-16 Girls and Under-16.5 Boys competitions, teams ranked in the top four will play in a two-week finals series culminating in a Grand Final.

Despite the season beginning this weekend, player transfers will remain open until Tuesday June 30.

Spectators, up to a maximum of 300, are allowed to attend matches this weekend in line with State Government easing of restrictions. However, they are asked to maintain a physical distance of 1.5 metres between each other and not to go near the team huddles.

A ‘kick and catch’ on the oval during the breaks is allowed, providing it’s non-contact and social distancing is maintained.

Food and drinks can be sold at club canteens.

Further information on spectator protocols will be provided this week.
