2025 Gather Round SANFL Schools Competition

The inaugural 2025 Gather Round SANFL Schools Competition is set to turbo-charge the festival atmosphere at the AFL’s feature weekend in South Australia.  

Registrations are now open for individual players and schools to don the boots throughout Term 1 in 2025, culminating in exciting Gather Round opportunities from April 10-13.

Nine-a-side competitions will be conducted for school boys and girls in Years 3 to 6 on Monday afternoons from March 17 to April 7, across four rounds at locations across metropolitan Adelaide and the Hills.

Players will then have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the carnival atmosphere with a Gather Round experience acting as the fifth and final round.

Individuals can register for $50 and school teams for $200, which includes venue hire, set up and a competition manager, as well as player insurance and a participant gift pack.
