Play SANFL & ECH Walking Footy, a modified Australian Rules Football program designed to be fun, safe and inclusive!

With no running or tackling, SANFL & ECH Walking Footy is a 6-a-side mixed team game specifically created for older Australians.

Join us for our Autumn season at Unley Oval on Wednesday mornings.

You can register and attend at any time during the program.

With Jack’s on Unley right around the corner (166 Unley Rd), we finish the session with a social catch up. The program is fun, exciting and a great way to spend time with your friends and family.

How much does it cost?

The cost to play is $10 per session.

When & Where?

The program will be held at Unley Oval (outdoor) – Langham Terrace, Unley SA 5061

Wednesday mornings, 10 AM – 11:30 AM
Start date: June 15th
End date: July 20th

Sessions will incorporate a warm-up and mixture of skill development followed by social games.

What Do I Need to Bring?

SANFL provides all match equipment like team bibs and footballs.

Participants to wear athletic attire and sports shoes.
All jewellery must be removed prior to activity.
Please bring a water bottle and towel.

Please also bring a Credit/Debit Card to pay your match fees (unfortunately we cannot accept cash), as well as to be able to enjoy the offerings at Jack’s on Unley afterwards.


SANFL is committed to providing COVID safe environments for all participants & staff involved with our programs.

All SANFL staff are trained COVID Marshals and all programs operate under a COVIDSafe Plan.

We kindly ask that all participants support us in keeping our community safe by abiding by the following:
