For the first time since the Eagles’ inception into SANFLW, they will have a key focal point in attack. Jordann Hickey will be a strong focus inside 50m for her new team, having played with the Gold Coast Suns in 2020-2021. The 27-year-old stands at 174cm and knows how to find the ball with ease. ”Jordy is a talented footballer with incredible game sense and she will provide the drive and connect to help us compete and challenge other teams in the SANFLW,” Eagles coach Narelle Smith said.
The daughter of triple Port Adelaide premiership player Nigel Fiegert looms as an exciting prospect in 2022. Marlie Fiegert can play a variety of roles, having also been selected in the SA U18 Girls Academy. Standing at 171cm, Marlie is hoping to become Port first father-daughter player when the Power enters the AFLW next season.
