COVID Management Plan Events

Many SANFL and Community Football Clubs across SA have worked closely with SA Health to develop protocols to safely run large events at their clubs for the 2021 Finals Series (full list below).

This means these venues can safely welcome crowds over 1,000 patrons – however to keep us all safe, there are some slight differences in COVIDSafe restrictions that spectators needs to be aware of while attending.

All spectators will need to abide by the following COVIDSafe practices while attending COVID Management Plan events:

• QR Code or Manual Check-In upon arrival
• Wear a mask when moving around the oval – such as during entrance and exit, visiting the canteen, while gathering to watch presentations etc. Masks may be removed when seated or in a fixed standing position
• Wear a mask while inside a shared public space (ie: inside the sports club/licenced venue)
• Be seated while enjoying alcoholic beverages while outside
• Be seated while enjoying any food and drink while inside
• Following instructions of COVID Marshals
• Not attend if unwell, or subject to other criteria as detailed in the entry assessment
• Maintain good hygiene (hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes)
• Maintain physical distance from persons not known to them
