Sturt v South Adelaide | Unley Oval | 2:10pm | SANFL Digital Pass| advertiser.com.au

STURT

Sturt premiership forward Mark Evans will play his last game in the Statewide Super League when his side hosts South Adelaide at Unley Oval.

The Ken Farmer Medallist will be farewelled by the Unley faithful after failing to overcome an ongoing hamstring issue this season.

Evans, who has missed the past three matches with his hamstring complaint, returns to half-forward in the wake of Jordan Houlahan’s (concussion) unavailability.

The 29 -year-old, who played in Sturt’s 2016 and 2017 flags, will be playing his 156th League match and has booted a total of 252 goals.

Making his League debut for Norwood in Round 17, 2009, Evans played 41 games and kicked 61 goals for the Redlegs before moving to Oxford Terrace in 2015.

Tall defender Riley Grundy, wingman Josh Shute and utility Joel Thiele have also been added to the seven-man extended interchange bench.

Griffiths has been joined in South’s 25-man squad by fellow inclusions Eamon Wilkinson, Danny Juickers, Darnell Tucker, Luke Bogle and AAMI Rookie Jake McCreery.
