  • Understanding impact COVID has had on the wellbeing of the football community
  • Partnering with other sporting organisations (SACA and Netball SA)

The website contains a number of resources and information, including recordings of the development sessions to enable clubs to “Reboot” for 2021.

Please note resources will be added as developed, and clubs are encouraged to check back here regularly for updates.

Finance & Governance Resources

SANFL has partnered with Galpins to provide clubs with education and resources to improve their finance and governance processes.

The handbook has been created to support clubs to create/improve governance structures, including defining roles and decision-making responsibilities.  In addition, it provides useful templates and financial procedures to ensure the safeguarding of  club assets (financial and non-financial).

The handbook and all templates an can be edited and changed to suit the needs of any club. The highlighted areas in the documents are a guide to enter specific club details.

Registration of Interest for Finance & Governance Consultation Session

As part of the Rebooting Footy initiative, SANFL has a limited budget to offer clubs with a free 30 minute finance and governance consultation with Galpins.

Priority will be afforded to clubs that had no or limited participation this year, or are in financial distress.

Wellbeing

SANFL has designed a survey to understand the impact COVID-19 has had across our football community in South Australia.
The results from this survey will be used to establish a baseline of the overall wellbeing of the football community following the compromised 2020 season, and will be benchmarked against a future survey to be issued once the 2021 season gets underway.
The survey can be completed by any player, coach, official, umpire, volunteer or staff member associated with any club, league or association in South Australia. Participants must be 18 years or older.
We encourage all clubs and leagues to share the survey with their stakeholders.
