For the first time since World War II, football has been postponed and the world as we know it has changed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our number one priority is the health and safety of football participants and the community and we support the measures introduced by the Government to control the spread of the virus and reduce the impact on our health care system.
With no revenue coming into football, we are reducing costs at SANFL and SANFL clubs during this time and are committed to ensuring every club can find a way through this and survive.
Not only do SANFL clubs provide us with our beloved men's and women's State League teams. They inspire boys and girls to get active and pursue their dreams; they offer talented young players a pathway and opportunities to reach their potential, coaches an opportunity to share and impart knowledge, and a place for fans, members and the community to come together and celebrate our great game.
Please support your SANFL Club, no matter how large or small, so when it's time to dust off the boots, pull out the scarves and beanies and come together again at local footy, you can be a part of the club you love.
