Registrations are now open for the SANFL Club Development Forum to be held at Football Park on Sunday February 26.
Starting at 9am, the event is designed for leaders at community football clubs to obtain information and ideas as well as providing them with an invaluable opportunity to network with other key stakeholders at grassroots level.
A feature of the forum will be a keynote presentation from Leading Teams, which will provide attendees with an insight into its performance improvement program which has been delivered at both corporate and sporting club level.
Speaking on SANFL Radio, Adelaide-based Leading Teams facilitator Daniel Healy said it would be beneficial for community club leaders to learn about the processes which can be put in place to improve culture and behaviours at their club.
A four-time premiership captain with Central District, Healy reveals the important role Leading Teams played in changing the culture at Elizabeth which helped spark the Bulldogs’ incredible run of success which resulted in eight premierships in the early 2000s.
The SANFL Club Development Forum will be an all-day event, with attendees also provided with the opportunity to attend elective sessions which relate to their club.
Elective sessions include information on using Footyweb, attracting and retaining volunteers, senior player recruitment, grant applications and fundraising.
The event is free of charge, with attendees provided with lunch and a range of resources to improve the operation of their community club.
Registrations close on February 24, click on the banner below to register.
