North Adelaide’s strong AFL Draft haul extended into the AFL Rookie Draft when the Roosters had another two players elevated to elite level.

After having Connor Rozee, Robbie Young and Boyd Woodcock selected in the AFL Draft, North had defender Callum Wilkie (St Kilda at Pick No.3) and ruckman Jordon Sweet (Bulldogs at Pick No.22) chosen on Friday evening.

They were joined by Glenelg forward Tobin Cox (Port Adelaide at No.9) and Norwood goalsneak Kade Chandler (Melbourne at No.14) in being the four SANFL players taken in the AFL Rookie call at Marvel Stadium.

Woodville-West Torrens pair Martin Frederick and Kai Pudney, overlooked in both AFL drafts, will now automatically join Port Adelaide as Category B Rookies under the Power’s Next Generation Academy program.
