AFL Recreational Football is a modified game that has been designed to make Australian Rules football a more accessible game to all.

The rules of the normal game have been altered and some new rules added to create a game ideally suited for a social, non-contact competition or event. It can be played in single sex or mixed teams, and accommodates players of all skill levels.

The game is suitable for secondary physical education groups, and using competitions and/or carnivals, can also provide experience in the areas of sports administration and event management.
