Adelaide will extend its stay in Strathalbyn next Feburary when it hosts its AFL Community Camp at the Fleurieu Peninsula township.
Set to tackle Fremantle in a JLT Community Series match at Strathalbyn Oval on Sunday February 25, the Crows will remain in the area for the next two days.
After having a recovery session at the Strathalbyn pool on the morning of Monday February 26, coach Don Pyke’s squad will visit an array of schools and sponsors in the afternoon and into Tuesday February 27.
An Auskick Superclinic will be conducted at Strathalbyn Oval from 4.30pm on the Monday, followed by an autograph signing session at 5.15pm and an official AFL Community Camp dinner in the newly renovated clubrooms at Strathalbyn from 6.30pm.
Port Adelaide will spread its squad across three significant rural regions for its AFL Community Camp on Monday Feburary 12 and Tuesday February 13.
Power players will visit schools, hospitals, conduct Auskick clinics and hold female ‘Come and Try’ sessions in Port Lincoln, Yorke Peninsula and on the Far West Coast, journeying as far as Ceduna and Yalata.
The visit will be a welcome return for Power players such as Sam Gray, who hails from Rudall FC on the Eyre Peninsula and Cameron Hewett, who is from the Broughton-Mundoora FC on the Yorke Peninsula.
